AusHEAL Congo Project
AusHEAL works in the DR Congo with Australian medical teams to heal the sick and train local Congolese doctors, nurses and support staff, while constantly developing the hospital infrastructure for long term sustainability.
Australia has one general surgeon for every 10,000 people. DR Congo has one general surgeon for every 1,000,000 people. In one of the most dangerous and challenging places on earth, hope can be found because of the determined work of a small, dedicated group of Australians.
This is a shout out for a fantastic cause with some Australians helping some of the most vulnerable in the world.
